A great find in Canada !!!

Incredible old world tone !!! So light to hold, comfortable and easy to play with 3.2mm on the bass side at the 12th fret & 2.9mm for the trebles…sound flows naturally with lots of depth, power, quick attack & response !!! A first class flamenco guitar !!!

The guitar has a crack on the back & some on the sides that were completely repaired & restored by Pedro Manzanero in Spain, the original tuners were just replaced by brand new Wittner mechanical pegs !!!

A must try !!!

The Spanish luthier Domingo Esteso Lopez was one of the great guitar-makers of the early part of the 20th century

In the 1890′s he began his apprenticeship at the workshop of Manuel Ramirez in Madrid where he also worked together with other famous luthiers like Modesto Borreguero and Santos Hernandez.

After the death of Manuel Ramirez in 1916 he worked for one year for the widow of Manuel Ramirez before he opened his own workshop in 1917 in the Calle Gravina.

He was joined by his 13 year old nephew Faustino Conde in 1926, as did Mariano Conde in 1929.

After his death in the end of 1937, Faustino and his two brothers, Mariano and Julio Conde continued working under the label Vda y Sobrinos de Domingo Esteso.

Domingo Esteso guitars are considered monumental and historical, some of them are shown in the great Museums around the world telling the most important part of the history of the Spanish guitar.
