REG Limited Roma Expo Edition !!

For this Limited Edition, Bazzana created an original design for the rosette and purfling. Coloured pieces of wood combined with resin produce a subtle three dimensional effect, giving the decoration a distinctive depth while remaining elegant and finely controlled.

Danilo’s Concert Model represents the culmination of years of research, study, and experimentation. It is inspired by the great traditions of the French school of guitar making, particularly the work of masters such as Daniel Friederich and Robert Bouchet.

The instrument offers a warm, full-bodied voice enriched by a wealth of harmonics and a long, singing sustain.

Highly responsive to the player’s touch and dynamic range, it allows for a refined and expressive musical experience. Its exceptional balance across all registers ensures clarity and consistency throughout the fingerboard, while its remarkable volume and projection make it equally at home in both intimate settings and large concert venues.

The result is a concert instrument that combines elegance, power, and tonal sophistication, providing the discerning guitarist with a broad palette of colours and expressive possibilities.

A great instrument in every way !!

Danilo Bazzano was born in Milan on May 26, 1985.

At the age of thirteen, he picked up his first guitar, beginning a lifelong passion that would later shape his career. After completing his scientific high school studies in 2005, he enrolled at the Civic School of Lutherie in Milan, where he studied under renowned masters Lorenzo Lippi and Tiziano Rizzi, graduating in 2009.

During his years at the school, he gained valuable practical experience by working in the workshop of master luthier Marco Viola, a respected builder of archtop guitars. At the same time, he completed his mandatory apprenticeship outside the school, where he acquired extensive knowledge of the restoration, repair, and precise setup of stringed instruments.

In April 2015, he opened his own workshop in the heart of Paderno Dugnano, where he combines the construction of fine classical guitars with the restoration, repair, and setup of a wide variety of plucked string instruments.

His guitars are built in the traditional manner, drawing inspiration from the great masters of the past while maintaining a meticulous attention to detail in the selection of materials for every component of the instrument.

His work and ongoing research are dedicated to creating instruments that satisfy the player on every level: tonal character, aesthetics, projection, responsiveness, and playability. These are the essential elements that allow a true synergy to develop between guitarist and instrument.

His guitars are designed to be responsive, elastic, and highly sensitive to the player’s touch, offering a rich palette of tonal colours and subtle nuances.

Particular care is devoted to the design and craftsmanship of the fingerboard, ensuring exceptional comfort, precision, and ease of play.

The result is an instrument that encourages musical expression while providing the player with a natural and rewarding playing experience.
