Antonio De Torres Replica FE 13 !!
This particular model is inspired by one of Torres’ earlier instruments, built in 1860 and catalogued as FE 13 by José Romanillos. The original guitar was owned by two legendary figures in classical guitar history — Miguel Llobet, who likely sold it in the early 1920s to Hermann Hauser I. Hauser would then use the instrument as one of his primary references, greatly influencing the development of his mature style.
Extraordinary attention has been given to virtually every detail of the original instrument, including the difficult task of reproducing the distinctive “lime green” coloration found in the purflings of the top, back, and rosette. Even the custom-built, period-style tuning machines are faithful replicas in their own right.

The exploration of the work of Wolfgang Jellinghaus into the legacy of Antonio de Torres has led him to create a selection of high-quality yet affordable instruments based on original Torres guitars from various periods and body styles.

Its smaller size and lightweight construction can at first seem deceptive — the moment the first note is played, the guitar reveals a remarkably large and powerful voice: full, robust, and richly textured, with lyrical trebles and warm, fat basses overflowing with overtones throughout the entire register.
Exceptionally easy to play, the comfortable neck profile and quick response make this a true player’s instrument.
Handcrafted in Jellinghaus’ small workshop in China, these limited-production, concert-level guitars are built from carefully selected and visually stunning tonewoods, then entirely French-polished by hand.
Overall, this is yet another charming and convincing replica from this respected workshop. At this price point, it represents outstanding value for the serious student or concert artist working within a more modest budget.
