This is a numbered Limited Edition classical guitar. It was made in the Jose Ramirez workshop at Calle de la Paz No 8, Madrid. These guitars were a special project created by Amalia Ramirez.

This Ramirez guitar achieves Amalia’s goal of recreating the true Spanish tone of the guitars built by her Great-Grandfather Jose Ramirez the First. This is a medium bodied guitar and as such has excellent sustain on the bass notes. Treble notes are warm and rich.

Guitars from the early 20th century were instruments played in cafes with dancers. They had to be able to play any style of music, everything from folk ballads to flamenco. This guitar was recreated by Amalia to exactly capture that ability, and it does.

The Del Vino differs from similar body shape limited edition guitars in choice of woods. This instrument uses Padauk Rosewood for the back and sides, with a center stripe of Oak in the back, showing off the original wine barrel inspiration for the guitar.

This hand-crafted guitar was built using solid Padauk Rosewood for the back and sides, a Cedar neck and a solid Cedar top. The outer binding and headstock cap are made using fine quality rosewood. The guitar has an intricate Grape and Vine rosette used on the Del Vino model only, with a matching design on the top of the bridge.
