SOUND COMBINATION
Diego del Morao Double Silver basses are especially suited to the Jerez style thanks to a perfect balance between elasticity and stiffness. This combination enables a characteristic rasgueo —powerful and expressive— while also supporting a smooth yet intense picado, ideal for the purest flamenco phrasing.
DM Nylon trebles provide a smooth attack and balanced clarity, giving the set a flamenco character full of duende that enhances playability and brings out every nuance.
Well-balanced set, easy to play on both the left and right hands with general equilibrated elasticity.
Diego and Knobloch collaborated for more than 10 years to create the DM Line, with the concrete model in development for the past 2 years. Our goal was to find a string set that matched Diego’s guitars and playing technique. Naturally, the center of our focus was on maintaining the warm and round sound while achieving impeccable intonation, durability, and exceptional playability.
The versatility of these strings makes them suitable for any flamenco guitar. The rich and deep timbre characteristic of Luna Flamenca evokes a feeling of both new and old gypsy sounds.
Designed for musicians looking to have Knobloch’s well-balanced, signature strings for any occasion – from a live performance to the recording studio.
