Created by Vanessa Burguet and handcrafted by Damián Burguet, this Blanca model has been designed to deliver the lively, expressive character expected from a fine Spanish flamenco guitar while offering exceptional playing comfort. Its low action and slim-profile neck make the instrument particularly comfortable and responsive, encouraging the effortless technique and quick response that flamenco playing demands.

The FDV belongs to the DV (Damián–Vanessa) range, a collection of four models — two classical and two flamenco — created through the collaboration of Vanessa Burguet and Damián Burguet.
As with the Burguet tradition, great care is taken throughout the construction process. The guitars are entirely handmade in the Catarroja workshop using carefully selected materials, premium glues and modern finishing techniques, with solid tonewoods naturally seasoned for a minimum of seven years.

The DV range represents a collaboration between Vanessa Burguet and Damián Burguet, bringing a fresh perspective to the Burguet tradition.
The range consists of four models — two classical and two flamenco guitars — each reflecting their shared understanding of the instrument while allowing them to explore their own ideas about playability, response and musical character.
The FDV is the flamenco expression of this collaboration, combining traditional Spanish construction with a particularly player-focused approach. The low action and comfortable slim-profile neck are central to its character, making it an especially inviting instrument for flamenco technique.
Amalio Burguet — Guitarrero Desde 1966
Amalio Burguet was born in Catarroja, near Valencia, Spain, in 1951. His journey as a guitar maker began at a very young age. In 1966, he built his first guitar while working and learning in various workshops, where he developed extensive experience in guitar construction and production.
Over the years, Amalio became increasingly fascinated by the artistry of guitars made entirely by hand. He continued his musical education and studied the more traditional and artisanal aspects of guitar making in greater depth, particularly the treatment of tonewoods and the many subtle construction processes that influence an instrument’s character.
In 1984, he realized his dream of opening his own workshop in Catarroja. There, he brought together everything he had learned throughout his career with his passion for traditional craftsmanship, developing high-quality handmade guitars while continuing to explore new ideas and approaches.
Today, the Burguet workshop remains a family tradition built around a lifetime dedicated to the Spanish guitar. Amalio’s continuing pursuit of refinement and quality has helped establish the Burguet name as an important part of the modern Spanish guitar tradition.
