Johannes Kitselis is a Swedish luthier born in 1969.
Drawn to the classical guitar from an early age, he built his first instrument at just 15 and later refined his craft under the guidance of leading Greek luthier Giannis Paleodimopoulos.
He established his first workshop in 2007 and is now based in the village of Ängelsberg, about 150 kilometers northwest of Stockholm.
In 2017, he was awarded first prize in guitar making at the Saint Petersburg International Guitar Festival.
Today, he focuses primarily on double-top guitars, seeking a clear, vibrant, and harmonically rich voice with exceptional projection.
We are proud to be the official Canadian dealer of Johannes Kitselis guitars.
