A Beautifully Crafted Traditional Classical Guitar Offering Exceptional Tone, Projection and Value
The De Cascia Gabrielle is a beautifully crafted traditional classical guitar created for players who want substantially more from their instrument than simply a good student guitar.
With its elegant European spruce soundboard and all-solid Indian rosewood body, the Gabrielle offers a refined combination of tonal beauty, projection and musical responsiveness. Its traditional construction gives the instrument a natural and familiar classical-guitar character, while the careful choice of materials and craftsmanship allows it to deliver an impressive level of performance for its price.
One of the Gabrielle’s most appealing qualities is its ease of playability. The instrument responds naturally to the player’s touch, making it comfortable for extended playing while allowing the guitarist to concentrate on musical expression rather than fighting the instrument.
The Gabrielle is an especially attractive choice for advancing students, teachers and experienced players looking for a well-crafted traditional instrument that offers genuine musical character without the price associated with many higher-end handmade guitars.
Excellent craftsmanship. Beautiful tone and projection. Very easy to play.
A must try!

About the De Cascia Gabrielle
The Gabrielle occupies an especially interesting place within the De Cascia collection. The model was developed with a clear purpose: to give serious guitarists access to an instrument with good tone, projection and playability, while keeping it within reach of players who may not be ready to invest in a much more expensive luthier-built guitar.
That philosophy is central to the De Cascia project. The guitars were developed in collaboration with teachers and students, drawing inspiration from designs and construction approaches found in higher-end instruments. The goal was never simply to produce an inexpensive guitar, but rather to create instruments that provide meaningful musical qualities at an accessible price.
The Gabrielle’s European spruce top gives the instrument a clear and responsive foundation, allowing the player to shape the sound naturally through touch and dynamics. Combined with the richness and depth associated with Indian rosewood, the result is a classical-guitar voice that can feel both immediate and substantial.
The instrument has also developed a particularly strong reputation for its playability. Experienced players have described the Gabrielle as remarkably easy to play, with a vibrant and refined voice, impressive sustain and substantial power for its price category. Another long-time owner was particularly struck by its balance and concert-like tonal character.
This makes the Gabrielle an excellent option not only for developing players, but also for teachers, serious students and experienced guitarists who appreciate the idea of having a reliable, musical instrument that does not require a major financial investment.
There is something particularly satisfying about a guitar that allows the player to stop thinking about the limitations of the instrument and simply concentrate on making music. That is where the Gabrielle excels: comfortable, responsive, musical and remarkably capable for its class.
The combination of traditional design, solid tonewoods and careful craftsmanship makes this a guitar that deserves to be taken seriously — especially by anyone searching for exceptional value without compromising the fundamentals that matter most in a classical guitar.
A beautifully made traditional instrument with the tone, projection and playability to inspire its player. The Gabrielle is a guitar that truly deserves to be experienced.
