The new “Retaining cup” which tightens down & holds the “Ball End Rod” into position is now overloaded for greater comfort & increased tightening torque for the users
It now has lobes & a larger diameter.
Together this will make for increased clamping force on the ball and socket of the support column
In short it will be easier to get a rigid clamping force on this component
