A great instrument with old world charm !!! Beautiful singing voice with simply exquisite woods !!!

The vintage European spruce top used on this guitar is cut from hand split billets that were from a select tree in the Swiss Alps and brought back to England about 1920. they were then trimmed to ‘cello tops and air dried.

When Jose Romanillos was in Toronto in the 70’s, he gave Bruce West the contact information for this wood!!! Bruce immediately bought the balance of it.

Romanillos has used the same spruce from the same tree to make Julian Breams guitar !!!

This guitar has very impressive warm and dark basses with great singing trebles, such a gorgeous mature tone on a brand new guitar!!!

Sounds very similar to the guitar Julian Bream played throughout his career…
